ArtsCad Art Critic - Helena fell in love at first sight when she discovered oil paints at the age of 25, while taking a foundation course in art, as well as classes in drawing and fashion design. Her inspiration comes from the perfection, material expression, composition, and the use of color found in the Flemish Primitives, Memling, Rogier van der Weyden, and, of course. Hans Holbein, and she finds in them a peace and harmony that she attempts to bring to her own work. Helena finds the depiction of women to be her
